Mmmmm I love the smell of this body lotion. I can’t put my finger on what it smells like, vanilla maybe? It’s not too sweet or pungent. I don’t notice the smell after I put it on unless I purposely smell myself but it must be strong because I have gotten compliments from the nurses (love when someone asks who is smelling nice and it is you..holllaa). Anyways it’s really creamy and feels great going on, it absorbs nice and quickly into your skin without feeling too heavy. It takes maybe a minute to dry into your skin and hands. Once you give your hands a good rub afterwards it dries fairly quickly. It cost me €13.99 but bought it at Boots with a three for two deal. Burt’s bees can be a little pricey so look out for these deals.
I kept it by my locker during my first chemo session and each night if I had the energy I would cover myself in it after my shower. I also put the Burt’s Bees Peppermint Foot Lotion on my feet and I just felt amazing. I just felt so clean and smelt incredible. It was just something to feel nice. During chemo I find it hard to find comfort in much but this definitely helps. It doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals, parabens, phthalates and the fragrance included comes from a natural source. It’s not tested on animals so that’s always a plus.
