The Skinny Dip…. No it’s not what you think it means

Bronzer is my best friend at the moment as it helps give shape to my face and outlines my bone structure. My facial structure is definitely changing due to the treatment and the lack of hair. It feels plumper and my cheek bones are less obvious. Therefore I need a little help from my new buddy ‘The Skinny Dip’. It is the lightest of the three shades of bronzer created by Bare Minerals. It looks quite dark in the compact and was unsure as to whether it would suit my paler complexion. What I love about this bronzer is that you can build it up. It doesn’t go on very strong so you can have it very subtle or more obvious of you like. I’d rather that than putting too much on with the first stroke. It is a lovely colour and makes my cheeks brighter, although I avoid over applying it as sometimes it can look a tad bit orange.( I use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply it and I absolutely love this brush.) It can come quiet loose as the brush picks it up and I hate wasting product so that annoys me a little. I am a stickler for picking up product that has come loose and on the mirror and sides etc. As my aunty says “waste not, want not!”

Make up brush by Real Techniques cost €15.99 in Boots

As far being chemical free, it is probably one of the closest bronzers you will find. It is without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalate, GMOs and triclosan. On the EWG website it rates as a 1 meaning it has a low hazard risk. Pretty good if you ask me. It costs €29 which I think is so expensive for something I use so often. It won’t be long before it runs out. I find myself being so stingy with it because I don’t want to waste it. I really like the product but I think there has to be something cheaper out there.
