I am a sucker for online shopping, always browsing for the next bargain. Absolutely nothing changed when I started treatment except my focus altered from clothes to head scarfs. I could spend hours searching different companies trying to find the most affordable and comfortable yet trendy head scarfs. Mostly I use normal scarfs but they definitely lack proper comfort. While I was doing my usual bed time ritual of spending about six hours on Pinterest I came across a website www.turbandiva.com. Turban Diva is a company set up by Laurie Andreoni, a breast cancer survivor with a great sense of style. The turbans are all so unique and funky I found myself constantly returning to the site to have a browse through. So one night as I went on my usual gander I got so excited to see a 25% discount for three days. I couldn’t miss such an opportunity. In the end I bought three head scarfs, this beautiful floral scarf being one of them. I’ll be putting up a review on the other two soon.
It was so hard to pick one because I wanted them all. I choose this turban because I instantly fell in love with the fantastic colours. It’s just that step above all the other scarfs, that little bit prettier and that little bit funkier. With all the different colours in the scarf you can match it with a lot of outfits. It brings everything to life. I love being able to style my scarf into a big bow and you can do it perfectly with this turban. There’s a lot of ways you can style this turban. It comes as a two piece, a hat and a longer piece you can wrap and style. It is really comfortable as it was designed exactly for women with hair loss. Most importantly it doesn’t insulate body heat so you don’t self combust with the warmth.
I bought it during a 25% sale but usually it costs $60. It was quite an expensive purchase when you added the postage and then the customs charge when it arrived (noooooo). I wish there was options this side of the pond for such fun comfortable head scarfs. It cost me close to €160 for three scarfs. Madness one might say, including myself. I have justified it (as an overzealous spender does) by the fact that one scarf is for my sister’s wedding and I didn’t have to buy a new dress and also that another of the scarfs is the comfiest thing I have ever worn and wear it nearly everyday.
They are really nice.
LOVE that headscarf too!
