I’m finally able to give back to all those that helped me out during my cancer diagnosis in 2015. I am going to run/ walk/ crawl the VHI Mini Marathon on 6th June to raise funds for the Wicklow Hospice Home Care and the Arklow Cancer Support Group. These are two groups that provided financial and emotional aid for me during one of the toughest times of my life. I never paid much heed to groups like this because I never needed their help, going about my business like nothing could ever knock me off my tracks. Well cancer temporarily knocked me right off my stride, and I am so grateful to have had the support of such selfless groups, ready to help out those in need. I want to ensure that these services are there for others in the future and that can only happen with the generosity of public fundraising. 1 cent, 1 euro, 10 euros, everything is so greatly appreciated..
